Ex-Twitter Security Chief Files Whistleblower’s Complaint Over Spam and Privacy Issues


A whistleblower complaint by Twitter Former head of security alleging widespread mismanagement sparked a new investigation into the social media company, compounding the challenges as it prepared for its legal battle of Elon Musk.

The complaint, which was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission last month and went public on Tuesday, was filed by Peiter Zatko, who was fired earlier this year. Mr. Zatko’s submission says he has exposed “extreme, egregious shortcomings of Twitter in every area of ​​its mandate,” including privacy, digital and physical security, platform integrity, and content moderation.
